YB Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah was born on 15 May 1960. He has been the member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly for Asajaya since 2001. Over the years, he has held various roles, including Assistant Minister of Housing and Youth Development and Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports. He has also served as the Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports since 2017. YB Abdul Karim is passionate about empowering youth through initiatives in sports, arts, and entrepreneurship across Sarawak.
