TPr Ts Norliza Hashim is the Chief Executive of URBANICE Malaysia, a Centre of Excellence for community well-being and urban sustainability. She leads initiatives focused on sustainable urbanisation through the Malaysia Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Cities programme and collaborative partnerships. An advocate for sustainability, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at two universities, guiding sustainable development efforts. With 30 years of experience as a town planner, she has developed master plans that aid Malaysia’s nation-building and led the Low Carbon Cities Assessment Framework. Ts Norliza is also a Fellow of Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA) and actively promotes innovative solutions for enhancing urban quality of life.
