Professor Robert Powell is a former Professor of Architecture at Taylor’s University (2016-2024) and Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore (1984-2002). He is the author/editor of more than 40 books on the architecture of Southeast Asia including Visionary Architects of Monsoon Asia (2024), Terrace Transformations in the Tropics (2021), and The Tropical Malaysian House (2019/2020).
