Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr Syed Mohamed Aljunid is a distinguished public health medicine consultant and Professor of Community Medicine in International Medical University, Malaysia. With over 30 years of expertise in research and development in health policy, economics and financing, he has held prominent positions such as Founding Head of the International Centre for Casemix and Clinical Coding at the Faculty of Medicine UKM, Senior Research Fellow at the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health and Founding Chair of Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Public Health, Kuwait University. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Malaysian Health Economics Association and Malaysian Pharmacoeconomic and Outcome Research Association.
