Ir Dr Chong Kok Hing, a Mechanical Engineering Senior Lecturer from Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak, specialises in thermal fluids, renewable energy, and sustainable energy management. He worked at Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Sarawak as an engineer and holds professional registrations, including Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), ASEA Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE), and Registered Electrical Energy Malaysia (REEM). He is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Dr Chong’s teaching excellence is evident through grants and awards like the Adobe Innovation Grant 2021, Swinburne Sarawak Learning and Teaching Grant 2020, and winning the Innovate Malaysia Design Competition in 2019.
