PROTECTION OF INDIGENOUS AND LOCAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE TROPICS

Alejandro Rosselli Londoño is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Colombia to Malaysia, a position he has held since February 22, 2024. A biologist with a strong background in rural development and sustainability, he has spent the last decade in an international NGO and previously consulted for multinational corporations. His focus has been on promoting fair and sustainable agricultural practices and inclusive natural resource management. He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from the International University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Universidad de los Andes. His professional experience includes leadership roles at Conservation International, where he managed communitybased conservation programmes across Latin America and worked on various initiatives with organisations like WWF and Firmenich S.A.
