Engr Dr Zubairu Usman Bashar is a Lecturer and Director of the Directorate of Engineering Programmes, Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi. A pioneer of the Kebbi SRI Initiative, a member of the SRI-Nigeria Network, and a consultant with EGTAi, PropCom+ and many other agro-allied institutes on precision & smart farming techniques, he is a respected figure in the academic and research community. He has built a strong reputation for his expertise and contributions to developing sustainable agricultural practices through innovative designs and development of agricultural machines and equipment. He presented several papers at national and international conferences, workshops and seminars, and published several articles in different journals in SRI and smart farming.
