Dr Shazelina Z. Abidin is a foreign service officer with the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a particular affinity for multilateral issues. She has handled human rights, legal affairs, the multilateral economy, communications, and training matters for the ministry. She currently oversees Malaysia’s relations with South Asia and Central Asia. Dr Shazelina is also a monthly columnist for Malaysia’s daily English newspaper and writes primarily on international issues.
