The Award Ceremony

After the Mahathir Science Award Laureate is announced, a ceremony is held to present the award prize to the recipient. The award is presented during an official ceremony in Kuala Lumpur with eminent leaders from the scientific community, ministries and science agencies, industry leaders, members of media and partners of the Foundation in attendance.

Following the Award Ceremony, there are a series of events such as public lectures and engagement sessions with the newly awarded laureate to enable the public to learn more about the laureate's outstanding work.
