The Mahathir Science Award Foundation (MSAF) will be organising a congregation of individuals and organisations that works towards solving the problems of tropics, thus elevating the life of many globally. The International Conference on Tropical Sciences 2020 (ICTS 2020) aims at promoting and advocating the significance of research and development in the tropical region, as well as raising awareness on the problems of the tropics that need intervention from government and corporate sectors to make the world a better place to live.
The Conference is tentatively scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur on September 2020 and will feature four tracks: Tropical Medicine, Tropical Agriculture, Tropical Natural Resources, and Tropical Architecture & Engineering. The Conference is a full-fledged scientific programme that includes keynote addresses from prominent speakers, moderated forums, plenary sessions, indexed publications, as well as oral and poster presentations. The Conference aims to produce a policy position paper on Tropical Sciences.
