As the final step in the selection exercise for the 2011 Mahathir Science Award, fellows of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) came together for the final voting exercise. The vote was held at the Mahathir Science Award Foundation office in Kuala Lumpur on 27 September 2011. Below are scenes from the day of the vote.
